"Management did a classy thing by providing the deluge of people waiting to check in on September 8th with flutes of champagne. The hotel has an excellent breakfast buffet with five star bacon and tasty beignets. The Pantry Shop has an excellent assortment of meals to go which was particularly nice considering the hurrican forced everyone to stay in the hotel Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Very comfortable room. Bottom line: This is my go-to hotel for my next visit to New Orleans."

"The building itself is awesome. Super cool inside with bars and restaurants. The room idea is awesome but not executed the best. The corner room with full windows and couch and bed and separate shower and tub we awesome, but it felt very institutional in the room. Echoed and could hear other rooms. The bed was really low and the mattress was super uncomfortable. Kind of a let down over all. "
