Not so bright

This property is misrepresented on the website.Firstly I searched for a house and this property came up. It is not a house but a block of units. Secondly a picture of a completely different house comes up when you search the address. The outside of the units is not welcoming and if you come back to them in the dark is quite unsafe. Once inside it is not too bad but is not as bright as the photos on the website. It was neat and tidy but not clean enough for my standards.The beds were comfy, the kitchen was nice and it had a good washing machine and dryer but I would not cook on the rusted stovetop.The car park was always full and we had to park on the street even though 3 car parks were advertised and lastly we were woken up at 4 am to very loud possums in the roof. I chose the property for the closeness to a venue we were attending and on the site it stated the venue was a 4 minute drive whereas the venue was a good 15 minute drive. The communication with the property management was good for checking in and out and during my stay as I voiced my concerns although nothing could be done at the time of my stay.This property was highly overpriced and I would not choose to stay again.

Grossly misrepresented

We stay in short term accomodation 6-8 times per year and this property was by far the most misrepresented property we’ve ever stayed at.To start with, the email with check in instructions contained a link that didn’t work, so I couldn’t easily find the instructions.The street number was virtually impossible to find when I did access the instructions and there was no street number anywhere on the property.What we thought was a 3 bedroom house (we’d searched on “whole house” in Stayz) ended up being a 3 bedroom apartment that was part of a 7 unit block.It took me 15 minutes and a call to the “help desk” to finally locate the property which ended up being a very run down (and what I originally assumed was derelict) apartment block.The “garden” is a joke.External staircase access from the overcrowded carpark was so overgrown it was impassable, and the concrete courtyard and overgrown garden outside the front door were so strewn with leaves & rubbish you’d think the place was abandoned.Inside was “bright” and somewhat clean, but fridge & oven were dirty and electric hob in kitchen was covered in rust.Beds were comfortable but bathrooms had no power points and the seat on one toilet was so loose it was dangerous to sit on.None of the windows could be locked & some were permanently ajar - the place was secure due to the bars on the inside of the windows!!Do yourself a favour - pay a little extra and stay somewhere else.
