Great place for a weekend, food a little boring
We booked Double G for a weekend trip to visit the volcano Anak Krakatao. We booked two rooms with "garden view", which turned out not to have a view to a garden but to a road under construction. The ocean view must have been beautiful, though, and we were willing to pay to change rooms but the ocean view rooms were fully booked for the weekend. Apart from "garden view" not including an actual garden, we had a great stay. Rooms are new, clean and well kept. Noise from the road was moderate. The outdoor area is very nice, in particular dining in the garden close to the sea was very nice. Note that you cannot really swim on the beach (volcanic rock would damage you), only in the pool. As in many Indonesian hotels, you should not expect too much of the wifi. Food was pretty average but not at all bad - certainly better than in many other Inodonesian hotels. And the staff members were really great and friendly. We can very much recommend the hotel.
