Nous avions la maison d'arbre de luxe Iriria ... un vrai nid d'amour !! tout pour passer un agréable séjour.. des hôtes très sympathiques et Français, une maison magnifique dans le respect de la nature avec tout le confort, un parc verdoyant, une belle piscine et son jacuzzi.

Best in the area!

OK. This place is not for everybody, but I LOVED it. Don't expect AC, or super luxury, but a true Costa Rica experience. Super friendly French owners. You will feel like home and they will treat you like family.

Muy buena estadia

Muy buena estadia. La cabaña era cómoda para los 4 que nos quedamos (2 adultos y dos niños ) y la cocina muy bien equipada. No está cerca del centro de Cahuita, pero si andas en auto, eso no es problema. En las noches no se sentían ruidos, tranquilo para descansar. El único punto bajo es la mala señal de la WiFi, casi imposible de usar.

Nice and unique.

Enjoyed our stay at 3 Bamboo. It was somewhat secluded. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Also, they accommodated our late night arrival. Would stay again.

My boyfriend and I accidentally booked a very large cabin for 6. If 6 people were there the price would be absolutely amazing for the facility. I wish we had been able to get a smaller place because I much preferred this stay to our next which was in Puerto viejo. This is a quiet area and you need a car for the most part if you want to explore without doing tours. The family that owns this place is very nice and very helpful. I thought from the photos that the pool was a bar but it is not*** just so everyone knows! Haha but the pool is very very nice and is open at night. The cabins are great and if you don't care much for night life or are with a family this is really the place to be. And you can always drive 10 min to the bars if you want! The I stayed in a hostel after this and it was so uncomfortable compared to 3bamboo. I really recommend !! It's a great place to stay especially for an extended period of time! Full kitchen!

Lodge géré par un couple de français très agréables, toujours disponibles ils aiment discuter avec vous et vous donner les bonnes adresses !! Le site est, comment dire, magique !! Les amoureux de la nature ne seront pas déçus !Le logement est aménagé avec gout, meubles faits maison pour la plupart, excellent !! Petit déjeuner agréablement composé et copieux. Bit of paradise..

Spent 3 nights here with family in the 2 bedroom apartment. Superb place with a beautiful pool, nice gardens. Spacious rooms with good facilities. Poison arrow frogs seen in garden, a sloth at the neighbours and a toucan on the last day. Its a bit of a trek to centre of Cahuita but the friendly owners are ever helpful and always happy to shuttle you into town. Highly recommended.

Beyond our expectations...

3 Bamboo went beyond our expectations. Let us start by cleanliness!! This is our # 1. Everything is well kempt, the grounds, the pool, the lodges, the common areas, all glasses, dishes pots pans are good quality and are well presented in the kitchen, not a smudge of dirt anywhere in the lodge. You can't help but notice the details in the property inside and out. The staff and owners are very friendly and make you feel welcomed. We chose this place due to the high recommendations and they are correct. We would stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to that area. Suggestions if you stay here: come prepared because it is not what I would consider walking distance from food / mini-supers ect : bring snacks or food because you will have to drive to eat (unless it is breakfast as that is optional and well worth the extra small cost). We stayed in the two story house (me my husband and two children under 3 years old). We didn't even use the upstairs level (which is an additional spacious bedroom and full bathroom) as the first level was more than enough space for us. You can tell the owners love and appreciate what they do. Highly recommend a stay!

Baumhaus mit Frühstücks-Service

Wir hatten das Baumhaus gebucht - ein Highlight für unseren 6-jährigen Sohn! Toll gebaut und sehr komfortabel. Da wir am Anfang kein Auto hatten, haben wir den Shuttle-Service in Anspruch genommen, das klappt wunderbar! Tolles Gelände mit riesigem Pool und das Frühstück ist phänomenal - besonders, da es direkt auf die Terrasse des Baumhauses geliefert wurde - so konnten wir schon beim Frühstück die Tiere in freier Natur beobachten.
