“It was a perk to have our own pool and the master bedroom in a separate small cabin. It was just perfect and close to all amenities and activities within La fortuna.”

“This property was gorgeous and our host Gabriel was attentive! We felt safe for our entire stay. The balcony view was breathtaking! Coffee while swinging and watching the birds and waves was the perfect way to start our day. If driving (which I recommend), definitely get a vehicle with AWD and take wide turns, we learned as we went along. The pool and entire house is very clean! Ice maker is clean! Grill is clean! If needed, housekeeping was available, and we requested these services once during……

“Our family of four had the most wonderful week long stay! The host, Patrick, had the best recommendations and arranged all of our adventures. He made everything completely seamless and easy and was better than a travel agent! We all loved the beautiful house and all the details that included hand painted tiles, rock work, hand carved doors and beds, arched doorways, and hand painted sinks. The view could not be better of Arenal volcano and the lake and the mountains. We saw toucans and parakeets……

“Great property and great location. Communication was on point and property management even helped set up tours. Several restaurants and activities within walking distance. Kids loved having the pool to come home to after all the excursions. Would highly recommend.”

“Please beware this place has a bug infestation and it’s so hard to get in and communicate with the people for the code. We couldn’t even stay because it was inhabitable. I reached out directly and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. Please save your time and money! my family had to look for another place around three in the morning. Such a hassle”

“Great property close to town. Rooms are separated from main living room/kitchen area, which was excellent for our party with some early risers and others who preferred staying in bed late. The pool was refreshing and the outdoor and covered dining area was good for morning and evening meals (although it could be a bit warm for lunch). Host was responsive and the property instructions are clear and easy to follow.”

“This property is lovely and is so close to La Fortuna and area activities. Papa's Place is just down the road. We were only there for two days but if we return, we'll definitely stay longer. Some of the room air conditioners were easier to figure out than others, probably due to prior settings from previous guests, but once we got the hang of the remotes, they worked great.”
