We had a good stay! Our children are 10 and older so the loft area wasn’t a problem for us. I wish the Gold Link lift was a little closer but we still hiked to it every morning. The skiing was great and we had good weather. Thank you for the lovely vacation.

We loved the location and the house was in great shape. I didn’t really notice the ladder to the loft. It was a little scary for the younger kids and difficult for the parents to check on them. The loft needs window coverings because the kids woke up really early with the sun!

We were four mountain-biking women seeking autumn colors and lots of riding in Crested Butte. Initially we thought there might be more of us, so we booked this house that could accommodate 10 people. This house was very clean, and the light and views were amazing. It was a perfect launch point for mountain biking. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we made several gourmet meals. If you read the description more carefully than I did, you'll realize that there is another unit attached above the garage. The people in that unit are completely separate, but their window looks straight down into 2 of the bedroom windows for this unit. Thus, the light from that unit is cast into these bedroom windows, and you might not want to walk around naked with the lights on if that unit is populated. That unit actually looks quite amazing, with a nice high deck and stunning views (beyond the bedroom windows). Two of the bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms. To get to the 4 bunk beds, one must climb a ladder. If you have folks needing to use a bathroom in the middle of the night, don't put them in the bunk beds. This space is perfect for older children and teens. The owner was easy to contact and work with. We were able to move our visit forward one day a couple of weeks before the trip. When we arrived, the door was locked because the new date had now been corrected in the management calendar, but a quick phone call had the issue resolved in just a few minutes.

house was perfectly stocked for all our needs including humidifiers for each room ( i brought my own, unaware). It was so helpful to have hired help shoveling our driveway and patio ( unaware and shoveled it ourselves first morning…after a downpour then to our surprise someone showed up) and they even took out our trash from garage which should also be disclosed bc its a little scary when you find a man in your garage. The trek to Goldlink lift is 300-400 yds carrying your skis and totally doable but should be disclosed… definitely easier to ski and pole home than it is in the morning getting out there. What a gem of a location with endless views… we called it our very own “snowglobe”! We had rotating visitors in the apt above the garage but didn’t even notice they were there unless you were upstairs in the Loft where you could totally see eachother with no window coverings. The hike up to the loft is no joke, but good for our TEENS. Our only disappointment or struggle was making coffee each morning… both coffeemakers failed us all week even tho we did find instructions in the binder. Keurig would not brew more than 4c no matter what we did so we unplug and remake 4c, and repeat. The other machine was its own beast and all we wanted was hot coffee. 😂 BUT if that’s our only complaint… everything else made up for it!!! We had a fabulous trip and loved your home!! Thank you for sharing your home, i would definitely pick it again! They thought about everything!!

This home is stunning! We were impressed with the quality of this home and everything in it! The kitchen is well stocked, the furnishings are comfortable, the linens are high quality, and everything worked well. The hike to the lift is a bit longer than we expected, but if you’re fit enough to ski, you’re up for it! The views out of this house will take your breath away. We will be back!!

This property was ideal for our three families. We had space to be apart and space to be together. We skied to the Gold Link lift and my nephews loves seeing the snowcats at our doorstep.

Host was very responsive when we had a question and signage and simple instructions in the house made settling in very easy; great outdoor space with beautiful views; great indoor space for three couples or small family groups of under 10 people (we didn't use the loft with bunkbeds but it is for older children and adults who are comfortable with the high ladder access and egress); great location near excellent hiking, riding, rafting, skiing, etc. and the restaurants, bars, market, shops, and other resources of Crested Butte; well-stocked kitchen and nice bathrooms; extra perks included the hot tub and towels, fire pit, fireplace and good grill; the only minuses were around furniture--both inside and out--even with just 4 of us, we could have used more comfortable seating arrangements in the living room and outdoors on the deck/patio.

We cannot say enough about this property! We came to CB to get married and it ended up being a magical week. The home was modern, clean, and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed stunning views from all over the house and woke up each morning to the top of CB mountain. Check in was easy and Jenny was super responsive in her communication. The home actually had some extra features that weren’t mentioned, such has some nice zero gravity and rocking chairs in the garage for use as well as firewood and starters for the fire pit I wasn’t aware was there. The hot tub was wonderful and we enjoyed a fox visiting us every night coming in as close as the slider on the deck. The side yard was perfect for some yard games we brought and the fireplace came in handy on a cold rainy night. Would 100% recommend and would 100% stay there again. Beautiful property and suited us perfectly.

This home was perfect for two families of four on a long weekend ski trip. It is an easy ski-in from the Cascade run (or several other blue runs in the area) and is a short hike out to the Gold Link Lift. The home is also a short walk away from the shuttle stop that will take you into the base area or downtown. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and pantry staples, and the set up with two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms was perfect for two families traveling together. The kids loved the bunk room in the loft, but beware that is is a loft (accessible only by ladder) and that noise travels easily from upstairs to downstairs. This wasn't an issue for us with everyone skiing all day and going to bed at similar times, but it could be for families with younger children. Overall, we had a great trip and would definitely go back.

This is a beautiful home with easy access to skiing, hiking and downtown. We loved the location and the home. Beautiful views from every room! The hot tub is great and has an amazing foot jet for tired feet! If you are looking for privacy, you may have renters in the apartment above the garage. That was the only downfall for us. Otherwise this would have been the perfect home for us. Also, the property manager is amazing and responds instantly to any questions or needs. Overall, this is a great property.

We have been staying in Crested Butte for many years and many other properties. Lookout over Lapis is by far our favorite place we have stayed. We can't wait to go back. Jason and Jenny were so great. Extremely helpful with everything. They made our trip very smooth and enjoyable.
