Forge Cottage is a very well-equipped, quirky cottage full of character and charm.

Forge Cottage is a very well-equipped, quirky cottage full of character and charm. It is in a very peaceful location with a variety of public footpaths for walks - especially useful if you have a dog! The pub is very handy… 50 metres up the road. Because we were staying in March we lit the log burner in the evenings, which added to the cosiness. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were warm and full of character. The hosts left some useful information about where to go for walks etc and we would recommend Blackborough Woods, Broadhembury, Hembury Hillfort and it isn’t too far from Exmoor… Tarr Steps and walking along the river was a favourite. The hosts were super friendly and helpful.
