Sundance Lake is a short 4 minute drive from the cabin and offers the most magnificent view of the 5-acre lake surrounded by hardwood and pine trees. It is one of the most scenic spots in the forest! Planning to visit the shops in Nashville? The drive there is one of the most serene and scenic drives in southern Brown County!

The most dreaded phrase while on vacation: “Oh no, I forgot something!” Well, don’t be too discouraged! Just 10 minutes away, in a little place called Freetown, is a Dollar General Store! Well stocked (including a great produce section), this little store will have whatever you need!

Weekend getaway
We had a lovely time in the cabin. Its size is perfect for a couple. Amenities were as advertised, and the hot tub was a dream. The bed is very comfortable. Within 5 minutes of Sundance Lake. We went fishing but it was too cold to catch any. I suggest taking all your supplies, Dollar General was well stocked but extremely expensive.

Far enough
Perfect distance from entertainment and far enough away to be secluded. Peace and quiet in the hot tub was much needed. Everything we needed for a quick two night getaway. Thanks and we’ll be back.
