Charming and spacious condo with sleeping for 10+ people. Located within walking distance of downtown Helen and a very short walk to the Helen Waterpark. This is a great place equipped for multiple families looking to enjoy everything Helen has to offer while being located in the quiet corner of town.

2 Master bedrooms with king sized beds, 50 inch smart TVs and private bathrooms. Large loft space with 6 beds and 55inch TV. 300 meg WIFI throughout house. Fully equipped kitchen and BBQ grill.

Beds were great

We enjoyed our visit very much. There were several things that needed attention. The toilet lid was loose, there were no hot pads or dish towels, and there weren’t enough towels. Also the description of the house needs to include de the multiple sets of stairs. Fortunately we were mostly young people, but this would not have worked for older people.

The beds were comfortable, even though I had to adjust the bed frame to get the mattress and box. Found a smoke detector missing a battery and later found the other smoke detectors not working. Grill was out of propane and absolutely filthy. You could only cook on half of the grill, due to the grill just not in good condition. Keurig did not work and had to be replaced. Dining table had a leg that was barely holding on and one of the chairs was missing parts and only a child could sit in it because it might come apart with an adult’s weight. There were at least half a dozen lights out through out the house. The light fixture by the entrance literally sparked and we were told not to turn it on. One bedroom had no closet door and the other had a closet door sitting inside the closet. The third floor stayed hot. Found a couple of vents that air was not coming out of. The house has electrical issues that must be addressed. Kitchen sink light fixture did not work even after light bulb was replaced. Dent and marks all over the house.

This property worked well for our family & friends once we found it. There are no check in instructions that explain the assigned parking spaces or the entrance around the back of the building with stairs. Thankfully, we are all young and able to climb and drag suitcases. Once inside, there were TONS of comfortable beds. It was also very clean. It was a little odd that the 3rd story upstairs had 6 nice beds but no bathroom. Therefore, the kids had to climb 4 short flights of stairs to use the half bath and walk through one of the master suites to bathe. The townhouse accommodates so many people to sleep but otherwise isn't fit for that many. The kitchen, table, and den are really small. There were only 8 towels and no way to wash them since there is NO washer or dryer. The place needs a little work, especially the porches. I am disappointed to read on the reviews that these issues have been pointed out over and over for a long time and yet are ongoing. The washing machine is sitting there but not hooked up nor has the hoses to connect it. That's just ridiculous. It wasn't too important, but the paint needs touching up. All in all, we were just thankful to have a clean place that was affordable, cold A/C, a location convenient to town, and comfortable beds.

Cute Townhome near Helen

The townhome was very clean and roomie for all 6 of us ladies. The cleaning crew went above and beyond, extremely friendly during our stay. The beds are all comfortable as well. The location is a bit far for walking to the heart of Helen, but it is just a short drive. It was easy to get back and forth to the townhome. Be prepared for a lot of stairs and walking up a hill when bringing in luggage. It is a beautiful and quiet place to stay.

Up and Downs

There were some good things about the property, and some things which could greatly be improved. See below for lists of pros and cons for the property. Pros: The location was great, not too far from downtown. The owner was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The furniture was in good condition, the beds comfy, couches nice, and dining table was perfect for us. The deck area was a nice place to enjoy an evening cocktail and morning coffee. Checkout was breeze. The A/C works great. Cons: Gaining access to the condo was confusing. There were no directions stating the entrance was at the back of the building. The instructions say go to 107A, but neither 107A or 107B are marked with A or B. There were numerous lights out in the kitchen, bathrooms, hallway, etc. There are numerous scuff marks and gouges in the drywall throughout the property. A fresh coat of paint would really spruce up the place. The blinds in the bathroom on the first floor don’t cover the entire window, allowing neighbors to look right in. There were no bathmats for either shower, and both shower heads were pretty low. I’m 6’ and the shower hit me mid-chest. Not a deal breaker, more just annoying. And there was low water pressure. The guests who were staying in the condo after us, came in 9 am, without knocking or anything, even though checkout is at 11 am and check is at 4 pm. The walls are very thin. One of the doors to the bedrooms gets stuck, and is very loud when you open or close it.

Great location.

There was no dryer as advertised, smoke detectors missing, upstairs had plenty of beds and very comfortable but not recommended for small children as the railing is very loose amd kids can fall through the slats in railing as they're spaced to far apart. The downstairs bathroom window does not have adequate curtain and people outaide see you go to the batjroom.

Missing some necessary items. Not enough towels for five days. Washer disconnected and dryer missing. No broom, etc. Overall, our stay was ok. Light in stairs was out. This was a safety hazard. Enjoyed the smart TV. We were not given enough info to locate site easily.

The property is conveniently located close to town and was the perfect size for our group of 5. The 3rd floor is one large room with several beds and is adorable, but know there is no bathroom on that floor. There are 2 full baths on the second floor (one in each bedroom) and a half bath on the first floor.
