Great location and quick ride to Bethany

First off property is listed as first floor, it is not, it was on the second floor. That being said, it was not a problem for us and we preferred the second floor. Property was clean and they allowed our pup which is why we selected this property. If you are traveling with your pet, this is a great place to stay. Only about 20 minutes from Delaware pet friendly beaches and lots of places and things to do.Saw lots of deer, birds, turtles, and other wildlife in the community.

False information

In the title of this listing it states that it is a first floor apartment. It is NOT. The apartment is on the 2nd floor. When I reached out to the listing agency it took me calling several times before a solution was found and another place was provided. The new place was very good, smaller, but met our needs.

The bad: The listing of the property was inaccurate and deceptive. Vacasa listed it on VRBO as a "first floor condo" and on the last sentence of the description in smaller print it read "The rental unit is on floor 2." I would not have rented it had I not been fooled by the Header listing.The stairway to the condo's front door was covered with a mountain of bird droppings and bird droppings all over the staircase. (Photos below). I had to carry my dog up and down the staircase to go out for her walk. I reported the problem to Vacasa and sent them photos. They thanked me for the report and photos and did nothing. I reported it to the condo service company but they would not help a renter. Our very lovely neighbors who lived downstairs were horrified by the problem and put in a service request, to no avail.I will never rent another Vacasa property. VRBO is great and should not list Vacasa as a premier host.The good: The property was spotlessly clean inside, well appointed and very comfortable. The location was great and the community pool was excellent. Everyone was welcoming.The beach was about 3 miles away and Delaware Seashore State Park is very convenient (about 5 miles).
