A beautiful cabin in a beautiful place
We (an older couple from Michigan) traveled to Tennessee for a family reunion. Our daughter joined us for two days. We stayed on for more three days, relaxing and hiking in the Big South Fork Recreation Area. We found Tim & Lisa's cabin on the VRBO website and thought it was exactly what we wanted. That turned out to be true. The cabin is in a lovely woods, very close to Big South Fork. Nearby Oneida had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. US 27 and I-75 connected us with the other parts of Tennessee we planned to visit. The cabin is architecturally pleasing, clean, and well-stocked. With a porch on three sides, part of it screened in, it fits comfortably into its surroundings. We stayed five nights and would have enjoyed staying much longer.

Fantastic cabin in the woods
Excellent place to stay in the Big South Fork area. Very clean, nice furnishings, and well stocked. The location is great, and the setting is absolutely beautiful.

Quick mountain getaway
We came to hike in the nearby Big South Fork Recreation Area. The cabin is perfectly located for this. It was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. A perfect home base for hiking. When you arrive: bring groceries and supplies with you as there are no close stores. (There are no close stores for any cabins in the area- the quiet and isolation is the point). The house is in a gated community so it felt very safe.

New experiences
This is all of our first time staying in the area. We are a group that absolutely loves the outdoors. We came to do some trail riding as well as sight seeing. We enjoy going to new places and trying new things and that usually comes with crowds and noise. We loved being able to end the days with quiet nights and the peaceful sound of nature. We got the best of both worlds on this trip. The cabin was AMAZING! It had everything we needed and then some. We struggled a little at first with maneuvering a 30ft trailer through the trees but got it done without and problems. The cabin was clean and cozy. The owners were very kind and welcoming. It was a little confusing at first trying to find the cabin but, it would have been easier if we had gotten there before dark. The area was gorgeous. Not a lot of traffic. Check in was smooth and easy. Over-all it was a great stay with a lot of awesome new experiences and great memories made with family. Would definitely recommend staying here!

A great place to relax
The property was well maintained, well equiped and immaculate! The beds were very comfortable and it had all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this property. It is secluded and quiet and we felt very safe. The price was reasonable for the property.

The cabin was very quiet. Plenty of room for two people.plenty of towels and linens. Suggest not using scented products on linens. We really did not enjoy the scent of the products used on the linens. Kitchen well equipped. The cabin needed to be cleaned better. Fans so dusty you didn’t want to use them,stove top very greasy,rugs in front of bathroom sinks very dirty,oven needed cleaned and smelled of old grease,vents very dusty, chairs at dining table dirty and stained. The basic cleaning was done, but needed attention some of the above mentioned things. This cabin would be a great place to stay if it was cleaned better.
