A great way to ring in the New Year!

We stayed at this property with friends over New Years and had a wonderful time. The Cabin was very charming and cozy and exactly what we wanted. The kitchen was great to cook in and very well stocked with pots/pans/utensils/plates/glassware. The beds were comfy we had no issue with 2 couples and 1 dog. The neighborhood was scenic and beautiful with the freshly fallen snow! We couldn't be happier with our trip!

Christmas at the Cabin in the Woods

The cabin was a magical holiday experience. It was as cozy and charming as could be for a wonderful holiday. Everything was accurately depicted on the website only better. The cabin was rustic yet clean and equipped with everything needed for gourmet meals. The beds were extremely comfortable. The host provided details for an easy check in and stay. The area is great for being outdoors and the local chops and restaurants were welcoming. Definitely would return.

Perfect for a short getaway

Lovely cabin — cozy and full of character. Big fridge and the kitchen is very well equipped. The location is just perfect — quiet and in walking distance from a hike.

Get Away from life

I enjoyed it getting in was fun and easy the cabin was beautiful and had some nice board games that you can play along with having a hiking trails really close to it about a 5 minute walk away from the property overall a lot of fun.

The property is really det up for relaxing. We have a 1 year old so We hung out at the cabin alot..nice interesting touches every where. I enjoyed sittjng in the porch swing and gaxebo. We had a hamily swim at the club. Wonderful peaceful time. Great property and managers very concerned about our stay.

Great cabin for gateway

Perfect for staying off grid for a few days, really recommend disconnecting from online world. Great cabin with everything that you’d need to stay a few days there. Lots of wood to burn and games to play. Would visit again.

Perfect cabin experience

We loved our time at “The Cabin” it was exactly as pictured and had many great amenities like updated and kitsch appliances. The space was perfect for a couple, a small family, or a few friends to enjoy comfortably and there was plenty of firewood to keep us warm though the wall heaters worked great. We look forward to coming back as much as possible!

Hidden gem- log cabin

We rented this about 6 months prior and the owner has stayed in contact up until rental this past weekend. We have 2 small kids one being a toddler and found this place very safe though we had some concerns of upstairs area we just kept a close eye on them. There was a downstairs queen size bed and upstairs king size adjustable bed both were very comfy and soft as we rotated sleeping with 2 kids. It was very quaint and serene. We were happy there was some snow on the ground from a previous downfall. The kids were excited for that. They had alot of board games for quality family time and many books there. There are space wall unit heaters all throughout the cabin along with a fireplace making it warm and comfortable. Overall, our 1st cabin stay and won't be the last! Thanks host family!

Great getaway

My family had a great time over Thanksgiving in this cabin. It was the perfect size for our family of four and dog. Some appliances are upgraded since the photos. We kept the fire going in the fireplace and also enjoyed the front yard. It felt private. We also loved having a trail nearby. Looking forward to a future stay here.

Perfect getaway

Exactly what we needed to get away for a week! Nice cabin in a very quiet and small community - you would never guess it’s only 1.5 hours from LA. Cabin itself is clean, very convenient location close to the village and hiking trails. Will be coming back!

This is a wonderful property! Host is great and location is beautiful but bear in mind that most restaurants are closed during week we found that we had to cook which is fine. We enjoyed eating outside. The house has everything you need.

Wonderful Weekend Retreat!

My husband, daughter and friend had a wonderful time at this charming cabin in the woods! What an enchanting location on the edge of the woods. It was so quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch and upper deck. Everything about this cabin is warm , welcoming and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a relaxing retreat from our busy lives. We look forward to returning to this little gem! Thanks, Timothy, for sharing your special mountain home.

Great place for peace & quiet

We’ve stayed at this quaint log cabin twice now and have found it to be quiet and relaxing. Close to hiking. Lovely fireplace. Well-stocked kitchen and a dish washer. Good wifi. The owner is very nice and eager to help.

Cozy, comfortable and secluded cabin

First visit to PMC (6/26-7/1/21) was during the extreme heat wave. But thanks to the wooden cabin, even the outside was ~84F, inside of the cabin was cool. As the hot day continues, the room temp Rosen it we had a fan to circulate the air and that was enough to cool the room, amazing! The kitchen system was brand new and clean. We enjoyed making waffles in the morning and decided to get the same waffle maker at home! The surrounding cabin and in the nearby trail, there were millions of fries, butterflies and mosquitoes so better bring insect repellent. We want to come back again for winter to see snowing cabin!

Cabin in the Woods is sweet home away from home that takes you to a real log cabin experience in a very quiet & safe community. It’s interior decor accents country style living with a cozy fireplace. The place is clean with amenities aplenty. The cabin proprietor/manager provides courteous service with personal touch. There’s nothing like spending your relaxing moments & love of nature in this homey nest amidst pine mountains!
