Don't do it!
We booked the last night of our Rarotonga visit at this place to be near the airport and have a bed and somewhere to relax prior to our 2am flight departure. Yes, it's cheap BUT it's also extremely scruffy. The owner / manager was found at a house at the rear of the property and only after making my way through his garage and climbing over his ride-on lawnmower which was in bits on the floor, then up some back stairs. The unit itself appears to have been furnished in the 70's which would normally be kind of appealing but this also extended to the linen and beds - all of which you'd hesitate to lie on or in. Sheets smelled musty and were threadbare - pretty sure they were circa 1970s. I put our 20kg suitcase on one of the single beds and it collapsed. Next time we're in Rarotonga we'll definitely spend a little more and stay somewhere else on the last night. This place really is "past it".

Be warned.
My sister and I and our husbands stayed here for thankfully only one night recently. There was no hot water and the toilet didn't flush. When we questioned Ingrid in the morning she said that no one had hot water because there had been so much rain and the solar heating wasn't working. She did not put us in the rooms (studios) that we had booked and said she had only received money for one booking - despite me showing her the booking confirmation and receipt. She was very argumentative and a very difficult lady to deal with. We asked for some milk, which she charged us way more than we could buy in the supermarket. She did get up in the middle of the night when we arrived and also allowed us to leave our bags on the porch next day while we went to hire a car. Would never come back.

In the neighbourhood
Handy walk to Avarua township. Restful grounds. Nice neighbours. Be aware their are a few roosters on property which can crow 24/7 so bring ear plugs if a light sleeper. Has all the basic necessities you need. Unit serviced daily, including clean towels.

Reasonable price for facilities
Brief stay, could hear people in adjacent room. Not particularly private if you're on honeymoon;-)

Disaster
The lady seemed nice enough to begin with but become passive aggressive and totally inappropriate. The roosters keep us up all night but considering they were at our other accommodation too it was something we just dealt with. However the worst part, the blue room had a faulty door that did not close to the toilet and shower and therefore we had to warn each other when we were using it. We told her when she came in and she said nothing. That night around 9pm we were watching a movie and saw a torch light and got a massive fright only to find the lady surprised that we were in the accommodation and relaxing - she expected that we were going to go out. She then proceeded to come into our room and say that another person had left an adapter and she came in rifled though our stuff asking if it was ours and not the adapter, asking us if we were 'sure' it was ours? Then she complained about the other guest waiting three days to contact her about it. If we were not in, would she have just come into our room and gone through our stuff looking for it? She would not be someone I want going through my things at all. Also a dead cockroach was in the shower it was too. Definitely not worth even half what we paid. Then she tried to make us turn the fan off by saying we'd get sick. She is not helpful, would only do things for money - airport transfer person. Also a 15 min walk to town.

Budget accommodation in lovely setting,
Have stayed here 3 times. Budget accommodation but suits what we need. The roosters are a problem, less is best, give the hens a break. And maybe a fan in the unit would make the warmer days more bearable. Will stay there again. Clean and owners helpful.

No road noise, but the £@*£+! roosters !!!!
Ok for what we needed. Basic tho the water shortage was a problem, had to start the pump before we could have a shower.

Terrible welcome
We received a cold welcome to the island. We were told to sleep in one room so that the clean up was easy the next day. We were told to save the power and water so no fans was allowed to be turned on. Not nice.

CALIDAD PRECIO ACEPTABLE
La dueña era muy agradable y la habitación estaba limpia, instalaciones viejas. Lo peor fueron los gallos que hay alrededor sueltos que nos despertaban cada dos por tres.
