My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cain Lake Lodge for a week, and it was a truly memorable experience.
One of the highlights of our stay were the fantastic toddler amenities. Traveling with a little one can sometimes be challenging, but the Cain Lake Lodge had plenty of toys and books available to keep our little one entertained, which was a thoughtful touch.
The views from the Cain Lake Lodge were absolutely breathtaking. The back of the house overlooks the lake which is visited daily by Osprey hunting for fish. We were even lucky enough to spot a pair of Bald Eagles in the nearby canopy. It was a treat to relax on our private balcony and soak in the beauty of the surrounding nature. We loved swimming in the lake, relaxing in the hottub and taking turns going on short kayak trips on the lake. Initially, the paddles were nowhere to be found, but fortunately a Vacasa rep was able to swing by the house to retrieve them for us from the locked storage shed. This was my first time booking with Vacasa, communicating via text went smoothly.
The house itself was well-maintained and comfortable. The rooms were spacious, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils, allowing us to prepare meals for our family without any hassle. We did quickly run out of the essentials (coffee filter, dishwasher tablet, toilet paper), it would have been nice if bit more would have been provided give the price for this rental.
Overall, our week-long stay at the Bakehouse was a delightful experience. We highly recommend the Bakehouse to anyone looking for a peaceful and family-friendly retreat.
