"We were very happy with Southern Oaks Inn. It was conveniently located, easy to find and had a free shuttle to the historic district. Our room looked like it was recently renovated and clean. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well. The free breakfast was wonderful! Eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, grits, some fruit, coffee & orange juice. We wish we were staying more than one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. And they had the best price that I could find. Will definitely stay there next time we go to St. Augustine."

"We checked in late at night after driving 5 hours. Our check in was quick and painless, the lobby and our room were both clean and smelled great. The beds were super comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Definitely will stay here again if ever in this area."

"Owners are wonderful! They worked with us and all our things that wouldn’t fit in the room. They let us keep it outside our room. We will probably never go back to st Augustine just because of how far of a drive it is for us, but if your on a budget definitely stay here!!!"
