Yampa View 301

We enjoyed our stay and the location and cleanliness of the property. The shuttle picked us up right in front of the property every 5 to 10 min making getting to the mountain very easy.

Very spacious, everything was provided that is needed just like home. Anna, house manager, is super nice and accommodating. Perfect location, super close (4miles) to downtown, shops, restaurants.

Well appointed nicely decorated

The complex appeared older from the exterior but our condo was recently remodeled and lovely. The whole family loved the huge comfy sofa. Dishwasher so quiet we relied on indicator light. Two twins in lift with private bathroom great for teen siblings. Deck with great view from dining area.

Cozy condo with great views

We loved the high, vaulted ceilings and beautiful views from the balcony. There was a nice hot tub on the premises. We had everything we needed in the kitchen although some of the pans were warped on the bottom. There was a slightest unpleasant smell when you entered the condo, most likely from the outdated dingy carpet. The showers had some mold and stray hairs on the ceiling. The mattresses are hard and need updating. Overall, the condo was cozy and comfortable, it just needs some updating. thold, dingy carpet.

Heaven on Earth

This condominium is all about the view, but was also very well appointed, clean, comfortable, roomy, and the loft served as a perfect escape for the younger adults in our family. Vacasa manages this property beautifully with plenty of linens, soaps and cleaning supplies. One issue with a circuit breaker and they addressed it withing the hour. We came at a perfect time of the year, mid June, where the spring rains had turned the Yampa valley a lush green with wildflowers everywhere. In addition to enjoying the immediate Steamboat area, we traveled to the wilderness area toward the Flat Top mountains where the sights were even more breathtaking. We will be back!

Family fun

Me my wife and two little kids had a great time. The fireplace kept us warm during the blizzard time we encountered. The view from our condo was fantastic. You could see the snow drifts coming off the mountains. Minutes away from downtown and other snowy activities. We would definitely stay here again.

Great option hitting the slopes.

This was a very comfortable home. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment you would need. Soap, towels, etc. readily available. Added bonus is the boot dryer by the door and the humidifier in the suite (for those not used to the dry air). Comfortable beds. Walkable to the slopes.

The Perfect Place!

It is difficult to say what we loved the most! The location has no rival. It's located in a quiet area but still a short ride to downtown, golf, waterfalls, trails, etc. You could even walk to a few restaurants down the hill if you're inclined to. The place itself had everything you need for a great stay (lines, towels, full-stocked kitchen, hair blow dryer, coffee maker, tvs, board games, kids video game, everything!!). And the view!! wow! From the balcony you can see the valley, the mountains, lovely trees and flowers, birds, hot air balloons! To say I didn't want to leave is an understatement. Still dreaming of it.

The view does not disappoint. Our only complaint was not being able to use the "Amenities"

The hot-tub, tennis courts and exercise equipment are all accessible via your amenities key. We didn't have one. We requested one. They said come to another building a 1/2 mile down the road to get one. We tried for three days. Wrong directions given and wrong location. Good customer service...it would have been delivered to our door after the first call. Very disapointed. I really wanted to give this property five stars. The Condo yes...Management I have to say no.

Very nice condo, very well appointed. The view from the balcony is awesome and my group enjoyed a comfortable stay and had a great time skiing. Will keep in mind for summer time vacation.

BEWARE-IF YOU HAVE ANY SAFETY CONCERNS.

Beware, especially if you are elderly with a medical condition and forced to walk to the condo from the transit center after waiting 45 min., and management fails to explain why this continued to happen during our 5 day stay. This made for a poor visit, my first and my last. Unresponsive management, unpredictable shuttle service, according to Alison Harris, VACASA manages (Retretia shuttles) and there was nothing she could do from the front office, about the rude/insensitive shuttle drivers.

Holiday Family Vacation

We stayed the busy week between Christmas and New Years. The condo was roomy and comfortable for six adults. Attractive modern updates. FREE shuttle transport to ski area and downtown in the evenings was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Yampa View #301!

Nestled in Steamboat

This Villa was just what we needed. We enjoyed our mornings with coffee in hand and watching the hummingbirds visit us as we gazed into the beautiful view of the mountains. This Villa was equipped with everything we needed for our week stay. Plenty of space for two adults and two teenage boys to rest in the plush and comfy beds. We loved the close drives to downtown and the ability to walk to Steamboat Village and took every hour we could to enjoy mountain biking, ebike riding and hiking. Thanks to the host for having cards and board games available as we spent family night's playing games and watching the Olympics. We are already looking to come back and enjoy another vacation.

Spacious, lovely home away from home for family trip to Steamboat

Our family of 4 loved our home away from home in Steamboat! We came for a week in July and were blown away. When we walked into the condo, the first thing we noticed was the incredible view from the living room windows and balcony. You can see the whole valley below and the mountains beyond. Absolutely gorgeous and the view can’t be beat! The living room is comfortable with a big, cozy wraparound couch we could all hang out on together to play games, read, and watch TV. The dining area has plenty of room and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to cook pancake breakfasts and family dinners. We especially appreciated having a grill, griddle, and even little touches like local Steamboat coffee. Upstairs, there’s a large loft with 2 twin beds, a huge comfy beanbag chair, and a TV where our kids watched morning cartoons. Upstairs there’s also a full bath and a laundry room with laundry soap provided. Downstairs, there are 2 good-sized bedrooms and 2 more full baths, one of the en suite. The sheets and blankets kept us comfortable and the bathrooms were fully stocked with good-smelling toiletries, tons of soft towels and even hair dryers. There’s also an entry area with shoe mats, hooks for jackets, and a bench for putting on shoes. The hosts have really thought of every detail to make a stay here easy and comfortable. There’s plenty of parking right outside the door, and we spent most days exploring Steamboat. There is lots to do, including tons of family-friendly activities — on the mountain, there’s a roller coaster, chair lift, mini golf, creek to wade in, and even outdoor family movies. In town, we found a ton of cute parks and playgrounds, a great library, the hot springs (our favorite!) and lots of good restaurants for eating outside with kids. We even spent one night riding horses to dinner on a local ranch. The Vacasa staff made checking in and out seamless and they were very friendly and responsive. We loved this haven in the mountains and we can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful stay at Steamboat Springs

Yampa 301 was an excellent property. Very clean and well kept. 2 small issues - master bed was sagging in the middle and the kitchen was supposed to be fully stocked and wasn’t. You need oils, sugar, spices, condiments, etc. if you want to cook your own meals. The instructions to get the key could be improved as well, but we called and found out how to get to the desk. We’ve stayed at many VRBO’s. It was a very nice property and we would stay again. Oh, and as a bonus, it has a Weber grill which wasn’t on the property amenities listing.

Very comfortable unit with the best views in The Valley. Very well equipped with stainless steel appliances. Comfortable L shape sectional and plenty of space for a family of 6. We saw a bear and two Cubs!!
