“This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is welcoming, helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. The whole building is a landmark with fun treats through the day- and a breakfast that is far superior to chain hotel breakfasts.”

Lush woodsy residencial neighborhood, walkable or bicycle, right beside Asilomar State Beach. 10 minute drive to Safeway and Luckys shopping centers for anything such as better coffee. Value gem. Stayed 3 years in a row.”

“This is a brand new property, everything is clean and the design is lovely. Our only observations are that our room still smelled like new construction/paint. Obviously that's temporary. Our "premium" room was also directly on a street that had street parking and as a result was very noisy with cars coming and going. Others will have a different experience staying elsewhere in the hotel.”

“I really enjoyed the property however they encouraged me to pay for breakfast in the morning and when I got there, it was sold out, which I did not know could even happen. Otherwise I would have paid when I checked in which I had no problem doing because I knew I was going to need the breakfast option because I was traveling with my 1 1/2 and 2 1/2 year-old and it just made a lot more sense to eat at the property… Since they were sold out we had to check out four hours earlier than planned in……
