The property was clean and attractive with a lovely view from the balcony. But the host was not very helpful. For example, bedroom was very poorly lit and he said move a standing lamp from the living room if you think it's too dark, but there was no standing lamp in the living room. He seemed not to know the property at all, but just to be a profit seeking investor. There was no key code or lockbox. the key had to be picked up at a local bodega, and the person who gave us the key had no idea where the property was. When we asked others in stores in the neighborhood or on the street, giving the address we were given, they did not know either. If you rent this property, make sure the host gives you very detailed directions how to get there. The address is not a street address like 25 Elm street, it is a number representing an apartment in a complex consisting of several buildings with different names. To someone not intimately familiar with the area, it would not give much indication how to get there. It took us 20 minutes after picking up the key to find the place, and a lot of stress. When we checked out, the host (all thru messages, no "hosting") said we could not leave the key in he unit but had to return the key to the same bodega and had to take a photo of our doing so. When I tried to take a photo upon returning the key, the man behind the counter became furious and grabbed the key from me and would not let me take a photo. Great flat, but be cautious.
