We booked Oasis cottage for a little winter break and stumbled upon an absolute gem by the seaside.

We booked Oasis cottage for a little winter break and stumbled upon an absolute gem by the seaside. The hostess Debbie is lovely and very accommodating, and the property is presented immaculately. The location of this place is as good as you will get in Margate. Everything is within walking distance and we spent many evenings at the local restaurants and pubs, my favourite being The Shakespeare which is a quick four minute walk from the property. The beach is also reachable within the same time, and a little further along is the old town which can be reached in about eight to ten minutes. There is so much to do in such close reach of the property, you really can stay down here and not worry about driving about to get anywhere. The train station is literally a three minute walk. I’d definitely recommend this place and the hostess, and my partner and I will be sure to return to the property later in the year. Also be sure to visit Aspendos restaurant if you like Turkish cuisine (you guessed it, also only a quick walk away)

Cottage warm and cosy.

Cottage warm and cosy. It had everything there that was needed. Lovely welcome gifts. Bed extremely comfortable. Easy few minutes walk into town shops and old town.Only issue was the television, really needs teresteral channels as annoying having to create accounts to watch programmes.Host was very helpful
