「To start, I’ll say that this is an objectively nice place to stay. There are great views of the sea and the rooms are big. The bed is very comfy. However, there were a number of important details missing, especially for the price. The shower in my room had a wooden floor. This clearly never dries and made the room smell horrible. It also felt quite unhygienic. The same issue existed near the pools - the wooden flooring is slightly warped and rotten, which is a bit of a hazard. The sauna didn’t...

「The Rock Guest House is a beautiful, well maintained facility. They served a wonderful continental breakfast and since we had to check out early, they provided us with a breakfast to go! Getting to the port was easy - just walk down the road. Going back was good exercise if you enjoy a gentle climb. We highly recommend it.」

「Hotel was right on the marina near city center. Great location. I was able to drop my bags early and was picked up for my tour there. The service is unmatched. I forgot several things and they were able to help me. In room coffee was amazing as well. When I come back this is the place I'm going to stay.」

Only two draw backs were the beds were a little hard and if you are downstairs, people in the upstairs rooms make noise that transfer downstairs and is very loud. We had two rooms and in both rooms, the noise from upstairs was bad while we were trying to sleep. 「Lovely quiet hotel in the centre of town. A buffet breakfast had all the requirements - coffee, juice, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, eggs and toast. The room was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel restaurant was exceptional and there was a bar area for a quick drink and lunch. Local restaurants were a short walk away and tours of the area picked us up around the corner. Small markets were close by to pick up a snack or drinks. Would highly recommend.」
