Hotel agréable

Chambre et salle de bain spacieuse. Le patron, qui parle anglais, est des plus sympathique. J'étais là-bas pour affaire et bien que le petit-déjeuner ne soit servi qu'à partir de 8h, j'ai été servi à 7h30!Seul bémol : hotel assez difficile à trouver : le GPS ne connait pas l'adresse! (J'avais pourtant une voiture de location avec un GPS autrichien)

Für Geschäftsreisende nicht so bombe

Es fehlte im Zimmer: Ein Tisch und ein Stuhl um abends noch etwas zu arbeiten. Der vorhandene Fernseher war definitiv zu klein. Auch sollten in einem deutschsprachigem Land auch alle großen deutschsprachigen Sender zu empfangen sein. Leider fehlte das ZDF. Gott sei Dank übertrug auch ORF die WM Spiele. Das Frühstücksbuffet war solange in Ordnung, bis ich die toten Fliegen auf nahezu allen Fensterbrettern gesehen habe. Der Lüfter im Bad war ok, jedoch extrem laut. Im Bereich des Waschbeckens fehlte eine Steckdose. Besonders eklig war das in der Dusche und auch im Waschbecken kaum abfließende Wasser. Die Federung in den Betten war viel zu weich. Fazit: Hotel mit Potential, was leider nicht ansatzweise genutzt wird. Muss nicht nochmal sein.

Lovely hotel

Cozy, right by the slopes, easy to find walking from the train station. Hotel employer was really nice and helpful in giving us maps, tips on how to get around and what to see, his cheerfulness and helpfulness really made the stay for us. Dinner was included, which we didn't know, so that was a nice surprise. This is a rustic and idyllic ski hotel, including the sauna, the breath-taking views and the wore down board games. I'd go here again.

Great Location

The hotel is small and friendly in a great location to the ski slopes. The views over the mountains are great. However the bar didn't open until 6pm so you had to leave the premies to get a drink of any description before that time. It seemed odd to us as they could've made more money by opening the bar earlier. We spent our money in another hotel down the road. The rooms are fairly basic, particularly the bathrooms and they have no baths. We asked for a room with a bath, but they only have one rom with a bath! These are only small personal niggles as overall the location and friendliness of the hotel made up for the small niggles.

Nice Hotel on the slopes

Great hotel right next to the slopes at Semmering. The staff was awesome, they let me check in two hours early. They were very friendly and gave great advice on things to do in the area. The free breakfast and dinner were very good for the price. The room was a typical European hotel room, but had a great view of the Alps. I look forward to staying here in the future.

kurzer auenthalt v fr bis so

wir waren z zweit mit getrennten zimmern. Das zimmer von meinem freund war ein raucherzimmer, obwohl es gestanden ist, dass es ausschließlich nicht-raucher zimmer gäbe. Die erklärung war, dass i zimmern mit balkon die gäste die möglichkeit hätten, im balkon zu rauchen (es stand sogar ein aschenbecher zur verfügung). Das zimmer hat gestunken u musste imer wieder intensiv gelüftet werden. Tipp: nichtraucher sind besser dran, wenn sie ein zimmer ohne balkon bestellen und umgekehrt. Ansonsten war das service sehr freundlich u alles andere auch sehr gut, vor allem die nähe zur skipiste.

Superior Zimmer war nicht verfügbar obwohl gebucht

Obwohl ich ein Superior Zimmer gebucht hatte, wurde mir ein Standard Zimmer zugewiesen. Auf meine Frage, ob dies ein Versehen wäre, bekam ich die Antwort, dass um diese Jahreszeit (29.10.) überhaupt keine Superior-Zimmer gebucht werden könnte. Also ein Fehler bei www.hotels.com. Ich bekam KEINE PREISREDUKTION!!!! Das Standardzimmer war eiskalt, in einer Ecke befanden sich Spinnweben und ein Käfer krabbelte über die Wand.

Cheerful furnishings, spectacular view

You can walk from the train station to this hotel, as long as you don't have too much luggage. They've chosen simple wood furniture with pleasing, cheerful colors for carpet and curtains. There's a large wardrobe and plenty of drawers. The comforter will keep you cozy at night. And wait till you see the view from the balcony! It's like a dream. Breakfast is spare, just right if you plan on eating your main meal later; otherwise, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel is on the way to the woodland path to Maria Schutz. Or you can take a scenic walk past the grand old hotels on your way to the Talhof. Any of the Semmering hotels would offer a good location; this one, at least in the off season, was also very affordable. Recommended.
