After reading many reviews with some variation of, "This was the best VRBO I have ever rented," my expectations were high. In fact, I have to say - this may have been the best VRBO I have ever rented. Some VRBOs are like a good hotel - clean, simple, spartan. Some are like housesitting for a friend - full of the clutter of everyday life. Couple's Oasis is the latter, except the friend happens to be scrupulously clean, has impeccable taste in decorating, and is a fanatical cook. It has literally the best-equipped kitchen I've ever seen. The backyard is an amazing retreat, and we regretted not being able to try the swim pond or hot tub. The furniture and bedding are classy and comfortable. The location is fantastic for visiting the U Victoria area, and only 15-18 minutes from downtown. The hosts Louis and Tasha were friendly, helpful, and communicative. We will absolutely try to stay here again, or in one of their several other properties. Thanks for a great stay!
