「The Derby is a boutique hotel with high end decor and finishings. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to have our room ready prior to the standard check in time. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The room size was smaller than I expected for a King Suite. The small window and slanted ceilings made it seem even smaller. A bench or luggage rack would’ve been helpful as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.」

「Very conveniently situated for transportation. Free water topup available. Rooms way too small but clean and the toilets even more so. Almost every time I went to sit on the toilet I hit my head on the wash basin and I'm only 5' 3" tall ! The window would not shut completely and there was a cold draught with a lot of street noise. This is a budget hotel with a wonderfully comfortable bed at a reasonable rate for this city. Staff were friendly and accommodating. They charge for storing luggage.」

「Pros: Easy check-in, location is quiet. There’s a short 10 minute walk to South Kensington Station which connects you to everywhere in London. The grocery store was 3 minutes away (open until 12AM!) and had all the essentials. Laundromat (wash & fold services) and pharmacy were also a short walk away. Public space and patio in the lobby were great! It would be nice to have some soundproof working booths for privacy so you could take important phone calls. Cons: My room had a connecting door to...

「Room is tidy although a bit small. But fine for 1 person. Bathroom is clean , just the shower space is a bit small. Generally staffs are friendly. Location is ok, 5 mins walk to Pimlico and 8-10 mins walk to victoria.」
