Cozumel Paradise Beach Hotels

"Don’t waste your money staying here. Property has an old feel to it with a lot of upgrading needed. The room had to be one of the worst on the property. Only provided 1 chair in the room, graffiti on door lock, had to unplug fridge to plug in coffee maker to make coffee in room, housekeeping didn’t wipe down surfaces prior to us checking into room. Food wasn’t good at restaurants-cold, bland and they ran out of items. And the high pressure to sit through a “membership” sale presentation at the outset was off putting. Was supposed to be 90 minutes and lasted 3 hours. Upgrade promises for Preferred access made a month before arrival were not honored and requested Romance Package of flowers, sparkling wine and fruit (also prearranged) at check in was not done. Worst resort for our vacation that we’ve ever had. Hope this review saves someone else from massive disappointment for how much this place costs."

"The resort was nice. Great beach. Nice pools. Scuba shop was good and dive masters were great. Food at the resort wasn’t great other than the specialty restaurants but reservations are limited. A lot of the buffet food was cold when it should be easy to keep it warm. "

"Pros: right on the beach; great outdoor space; comfy bed Cons: communication wasn't that great (we received check-in details about 4 hrs before check-in). We had groceries delivered, which was a really nice service to provide. However, the property manager tried to charge us 3x the amount Ellen told us. Some items were missing and Mario did not provide an itemized receipt. When I communicated my concerns to Ellen, I did not receive a response. "

"Check-in was an absolute nightmare. I spent more time at the front desk in the first 24 hours that I did on vacation. It was sad, we had so many issues it’s undescribable. There were so many other people that have issues as well that we shared experiences. "

"We loved our stay at the Diablos Rojos house! The house was amazing, it had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation. The location is perfect! The host was super responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back! "

"Our 3rd time staying here at Casa Delmar and it never disappoints.Our party of 7 including our 2 & 6 year old granddaughters a friend .The view WOW ..from booking to checkin to checkout a very easy process.We were looked after by Veronica who took great care of us. We are already planning our next trip. "

"Loved it here! Great spot for the family to enjoy Cozumel! We had a 1.5 year old who running around so we had to move some of the beautiful glass and statues out of reach and watch the balcony ledge as she was too keen to want to climb on it. Just something to be aware of. The condo was great, ac worked amazing, appliances were clean and working. I’d recommend the host switch the coffee maker to one that automatically turns itself off after two hours for safety reasons. Beds were comfy and bathrooms all worked. This property is away from noise of the city but close enough to catch a great dinner. We’ve stayed at RR before for scuba diving but this was the first time we brought all the kids. Five children n three adults were comfy and had plenty of space. Will be back!"
