“I wanted to like this hotel, but we were disappointed by how old the mattresses and furniture were. Sadly there was no sitting area/sofa in living area, just the trundle bed and a basic table with chairs. The location and balcony view were very beautiful and the host was nice and welcoming, and it was very clean, so that was much appreciated. However the listing said a 4 star hotel so we were a bit disappointed with the situation.”

“We stayed in Minta at Castello Risano as a family of 4. Anna was a great host, super helpful & always available for questions. The pool was a great bonus for the kids, especially with the heat! Great location for peace & quiet although if you're a super nervous driver it may not be for you as the road is steep & single track but two-way. Having said that it's a quick walk down the hill to the main town & restaurants/shops. We would 100% stay here again if we return to Montenegro....which we……

For a hotel charging luxury rates, the local staff were consistently unfriendly, unhelpful, and at times came across as vindictive when we raised concerns or asked for assistance. “Hotel palma is a lovely hotel. The breakfast is included and has good variety each day. The bathroom amenities are excellent and the decor of sage green was very nice. The rooms are cleaned daily and the housekeeping are so nice and helpful. The facilities of the spa and the private beach are great. The only thing was the bar staff were not very welcoming. The bar lady was lovely however the bar men could do with smiling to welcome people in to their hotel. Otherwise a wonderful experience and……

Saubere Zimmer, tolles Frühstück (viel unterschiedliches, gefüllte Kraut Taschen Mega), auch hier das Personal sehr hilfsbereit, schöner Pool. Generell sehr schöne Anlage und es gibt einen Tunnel zum Meer. Restaurants in der Nähe, Supermarkt. Man kommt schnell überall hin.”

Only thing that could be improved was the bathroom in the hotel room - shower wasn’t great and temperature kept changing by itself. “The property really focuses on health and wellness. The food is all nutritious and healthy and a good variety of options for their breakfast. The rooms are fairly large and ours had a pull up bar. They give you water bottles to use and have water dispensers throughout the hotel which was such a nice touch. The gym is one of the nicer hotel gyms I’ve ever seen. If you’re looking to maintain a routine, it’s a great option. The area itself is near a marina but it’s most high mall like shopping.……
