Lovely Thanksgiving getaway

My family and I spent Thanksgiving with the cousin nearby and we needed overflow lodging. This place was beyond our expectations. It truly was a luxury experience and everyone had their own bed and bath and privacy and lots of space and lots of gathering time. We actually extended our stay by a day because it was so comfortable.

Beautiful, clean house!

A group of 7 ladies stayed here for my mom’s 60th birthday. The house is very modern, spacious and clean. We had a few issues with the pool filter/house water turning off due to the well, but the owner was very quick to fix it. Highly recommend this house for a relaxing getaway!

Stay for a wedding at local winery

We were going to a wedding at a wi dry venue near Charlottesville. There were 8 of us and this house was a perfect alternative to going to a hotel. House was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. It was a 30 minute drive to Charlottesville and 30 minute drive to wedding venue so it required a bit of driving on some country roads. But everyone had a nice time together.

Great Getaway but noise from neighbor's construction

Overall, our stay was amazing, the home & property are beautiful and the property manager was very responsive. The only "negative" was next door there was some construction happening and the sound of chainsaws clearing the neighbor's trees during our 3-night stay so it was difficult to enjoy the pool and the outdoor space during the day for kids' last days of summer. Hopefully, that won't be the case for future renters looking to enjoy the serenity of the country. I would stay here again assuming the neighbor's construction has concluded.

Absolutely perfect with everything you need for a family stay!

This house is beautiful, bright, tasteful, comfortable, clean and supplied with everything you can think of for a great stay.The beds are comfortable, the towels are plush, the living space has plenty of seating for a large group, and the well supplied kitchen with open floor plan is perfect for a family gathering. The owners have thought of everything for every demographic- great kid’s room, all on one level for anyone with mobility issues, enough bathrooms for all, a safe and awesome pool (with pool toys!) and great outdoor seating. The manager was excellent with communication and accommodated our scheduling needs so that we could attend our son’s graduation at UVA with as much convenience as possible. As VRBO owners ourselves, we can truly say that the owners of this property have created a wonderful space- we wish we would stay for a month.

Wonderful stay

We had a great time at this place. The house is beautiful and fully equipped. Not a far drive from downtown Charlottesville but we mostly enjoyed it because it felt like a little oasis. We had a group of 6 and it accompanied everyone perfectly. Communication with the property manager was easy and so was the check in process. Would definitely stay here again!
