The rooms are old and have a musty smell to them with torn curtains on the windows and rusted sliding glass doors with keys that are difficult to open/close. There is no staff onsite before 10 am or after 6 pm, and accessing the property is difficult as you have to use a QR code to go through a turnstile and then through a door that leads you into a "alley" to get inside. 「 We loved our weeklong stay here. The rainforest vibe and secluded pools and waterfalls were just the atmosphere we wanted, and the location away from the beach in a quiet neighborhood was as very appealing. We had a room with a garden and soaking tub that gave the place the feel of an expensive boutique hotel for a fraction of the cost.
