Overall, our stay at this location was just fine. The location itself was quite convenient with plenty of good grocery, restaurants and local attractions nearby. The neighborhood initially seemed a little concerning but quickly proved to be quite pleasant, quiet and enjoyable. The home (aka The Firehouse) had a fun feel to it given the history, but with it came an older style home.
-The bathroom is quite small and very tight-quartered. The shower curtain could definitely stand to be replaced.
-The water pressure at the kitchen and bathroom sinks were quite minimal at our arrival. Vacasa was very responsive and sent a maintenance worker. The pressure was still pretty weak after being fixed but likely normal for the house.
-The home is dependent on a single AC unit in the main room/sleeping quarters, which made cooling the entire home challenging. Multiple portable fans were also available and luckily, the outside temperatures during our stay were manageable to begin with.
-The home came set-up with bunkbeds in the second bedroom that work great for kids. The main bedroom area has a full/small queen sized bed and a convertible couch to futon that to say the least, got the job done :)
Off the main room is a closet that had an air mattress available. Also, several sets of sheets, plenty of blankets and extra pillows were available and a huge plus but it was somewhat difficult to gauge which linens were clean. This home was well equipped with all the basics but plenty of extras
