"Our 3rd time staying at this property. Amber (the host) is helpful and responds quickly if you have questions. Between the bikes, pool table, foosball table, arcade game and hot tub there is always entertainment. It's well appointed and comfortable. The walk to the beach is about 5-8 minutes depending on how fast you want to get there. There's a Dollar General right down the street for more sunscreen and soda and Food Lion about 15 minutes away if you need more substantial stuff. Fill your gas tank in Nags Head or Manteo before you head to Waves. It was significantly cheaper."

"We had the best week staying here! Chuck was super quick to respond back to questions and a great host! The house is super close to the beach so super easy walk and we loved having the outdoor space to hang out! We had 16 of us and were comfortable on days we just hung in the house too!"

"Wifi wasn’t working and the washer also stopped working we tried to get in contact with the house owner and were told they would check it the day after but no one came. Overall though everything else was good. Be prepared to bring essentials though they didn’t provide much (ex. Towels, toilet paper, paper towels, some doors couldn’t be locked) but good experience overall."

"We just love this place - we had a wonderful time even though the weather was super windy and cold. The access to the beach is perfect and the waves were so fun to watch from the deck which is protected from those winds. Highly recommend!"

"Very clean, lots of kitchenware. Loved the newspaper clipping which shared some history of the property and owner. Someone said in a previous post it was dated. To me it felt like stepping back in time, lots of nostalgia of a bygone era. We enjoyed our stay!"
