“Liked: the sampling breakfast. Some continental items served first with cooked English breakfast after. No buffet is good. Disliked. No lift. 42 stairs to my room (10).”

“Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms. Overall the staff at the bar and in the restaurant and around the hotel……

“Spacious family room, cracking location. We ate an evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious. Staff are absolutely lovely, welcoming and cheerful. We cant wait to stay again.”

“There wasn’t much variety in the menu and the specials were the same over the three days. Also we thought it was a little expensive. I thought it was b & b only to find out when we arrived it wasn’t.”

“We arrived the tv in the room didn’t work we were told it was due to a storm but later found out it was the control box. That was it left to our own devices no sorry we were told free drinks were offered but we didn’t receive anything. At breakfast there wasn’t enough room so again left to our own devices to find seating in the cold bar. We were asked at breakfast if the room needed service or a drink we said service but got neither. All in all the staff could do better. ”

“The room was lovely and spacious, had everything we needed was really clean and the bed was super comfortable. Our host was really helpful and easy to communicate with and the property was in such a lovely quiet area. We were close enough to the local town centre to drive over for tea and 30 mins from Harrogate for a day out. Absolutely brilliant value for money”

“We stayed here as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 11 & 7) for 4 nights. It was a very enjoyable place to stay, within walking distance of everything Masham has to offer - and the Co-op was incredibly close! The twin room upstairs doesn't have a door so noise travels but once the kids were asleep it didn't affect them. We stayed during Feb, so the skylight in the main bedroom was not an issue for us. The lounge, bathroom (shower only) and kitchen were all modern / nicely done.”
