“When we arrived, the room smelled damp and musty, but by day two it was OK. We reported that our bed was broken on the first day and finally by the fourth day they acknowledge that it was broken and replaced the mattress. We cut our trip short by two days because we were told with the concierge that because of my physical limits, I would not be able to go on any of the excursions. We booked massages and were told if we took a tour of the property that he could give us a discount. When we refused……

“I stayed to night all inclusive in September 2026. The positive, clean room, staff were great, three blocks from the beach and 5th avenue. Negative, food and drinks were the worse. Breakfast was great .”

“We loved the views and the ocean. One reason we like Riu is for the swim up bars. This particular location the bartenders seemed to be less concerned about serving us due to being engrossed in their own conversations. But it got better later in the day. But for the most part we loved this resort. Food was subpar compared to other riu we’ve stayed at But we will know what to expect if we book at this location again. Very nice rooms and very nice scenery.”
