Great property with a great location where you can walk everywhere. We were there for the 4th of July and had the best seats in the house for the parade and the evening fireworks! The condo was very nice and perfect for our needs.

Great location! Very well stocked

Perfect little 2/1.5 right in the heart of St George Island. We were able to walk anywhere we went. Easy access to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, shops, and lighthouse museum. Condo was as described and was very well stocked with all the kitchen utensils and small appliances. Plenty of bath towels, plus beach towels. Paper products and soap etc also supplied. Stayed with my mom and teenage daughter and it was perfect.

Great place to stay on the Island

This was our first time to stay on SGI. We found this apartment very equipped with everything you need for a home base. Very close to a lot of great restaurants as well.

Pictures Don't Do It Justice

The Swinging Door, etc.

The door with the code worked off and on, with a broken hinge at the bottom. Had to leave a door unlocked coming and going. Greasy dishes and pots we had to clean. Water pressuregoinggoing.

Nice place

Easy to rent from the website, Denise is great to work with. The kitchen faucet wouldn’t turn off and she did everything to get someone to fix without any luck but made sure we were taken care of. Will be back in October will rent again.

This property was very well stocked (shampoo to seasonings to k-cups)! The bedrooms were super comfortable with high end pillows and mattresses and plush carpet. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic. My teens loved being center island. You can walk to everything. We still drove to the beach because the parking here is so easy, and we drove to the state park of course, but you could also walk to the beach. You have a view of the ocean from the huge deck, and you can sit out and listen to the live music at BJ’s next door. The real estate office downstairs is quiet and we never had trouble with parking. The laundry room is downstairs but it’s nice and easy access and it’s large capacity. We only had to do one load. Everything works great (AC, ice maker, dishwasher, etc.) It was a fantastic rental and the owner was immediately responsive when I had questions. Price wise, we paid the same last year for a 3 bed/2 bath house in Eastpoint with a bay view across the road. The price is very fair for what it is. We would definitely stay here again :)

Tired Property

The location of this property is perfect. The property however is extremely tired. Not only does it need a thorough cleaning, top to bottom but there were many maintenance items that were neglected and ignored. Missing tiles in the bathroom, fan vents in dire need of cleaning door jams in need of replacement, dirty furniture, kitchen tools ie spots and pans that were way past their use. This property desires better as do the people who rent it.

St. George Vacation 2023

The place was as advertised. It was clean and convenient to the beach and all the other venues on the island. The internet was out the entire week which really put a damper on my ability to work and stream TV. The owner was responsive on the issue but unfortunately, the internet was never restored. He supplied a backup wifi connection, but the bandwidth was poor. We ended up using our hotspot when we needed it.

Facility & location very good - the night before check in I needed to confirm our 4 digit entry code so called the help number listed…could only leave a message… shared what I needed, noting to please call or text me at my phone number and left a message for the person to call or text me. I never heard back from them by the time I needed the code to actually check in the next day. It was only then that I found an email that had been sent to me with the code but NO actual call or text message was sent which is what I asked for…

The property was centrally located and relatively near the beach. First impression was the key pad not opening and we had to call the property owner (didn't answer) and then VRBO which took about 1/2 hour on hold and speaking to the rep. Owner finally called and said we were operating the door wrong, though we believe the lock was stuck and not cycling open (even though it was making noise). Finally it opened after about 20 tries and worked most of the time the rest of the stay. Property appeared clean (though socks got dirty easily on the tile). Many of the amenities (dishwashing soap, shampoo, hand soap, etc.) were put away, so we didn't know if we were allowed to use them. We ran out of paper towels the first day (had not been replenished). One bed was very firm and the other was way too soft. The sheets and towels were soft, though. Our main concern and observation was lack of regular and routine maintenance, including the tub (backed up badly to 8 inches when you took a shower), numerous cracks in walls and tile, unlevel refrigerator door (that flew open all the way when you opened it), dirty tile floor, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, cracks in ALL of the window seals, stained and very old bedroom carpet, rusted window coverings, etc.. One of the bedrooms has a door to the porch and its VERY noisy when the neighbor guests sat on the porch and talked at all hours of the morning and night. I would absolutely NOT recommend or stay at this property again.
