“The host is very kind and helpful. The beds are very comfortable and the linens were perfect. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked even with milk in the fridge. Beautifully decorated. We loved our stay. Thank you. ”

“Fantastic apartment in a great location for visiting Chester. Parking is located a bit away from the property and can be a bit difficult to find but only a minor thing. Everything else was really good including the communications from the owner. Highly recommend. ”

“Well equipped in peaceful rural setting. Very handy for Broughton shopping park. Good bus service into Chester and surrounding areas. Will certainly return there.”

“Off the main road which was good. We thought it was a nice, pleasant place to stay within a short drive of Chester. I would recommend this place to friends visiting the area. We were just a couple that stayed for a week whilst building work was completed on our house and found it competitively priced so if you are a group of 4 then it would represent even better value. I'd imagine that the garden would be good to relax in come the summer months. If you intend to work over the wifi as we did, I……

“The house was very impressive because it was so clean, well decorated and very functional. Most important requirements were available plus extras such as a washing machine and tumble drier. WiFi was instant and two large TV sets had good coverage. We were there however in mid June in a heatwave. Although air conditioning would have been fantastic, the provision of a couple of small fans would have been helpful. This though would not stop my return to the property as it was really superb.”

“This is a beautiful place in a gorgeous setting. The views are tremendous, it’s quiet, peaceful and very relaxing but only 10 mins from anything you might need. The owners are super helpful and friendly and could not be more accommodating. The hideaway pods as perfect for a couple. Very comfortable double bed, sofa, table and chairs. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was excellent.. temperature and power brilliant. Parking is easy, and free! We were greeted with a very nice bottle of……

“The hot tub was excellent and we used it earlier each day. Although we took most things with us there was a general store just a few yards away. There were two small issues which I brought to the attention of the host and they were dealt with immediately.”

“Clean property in a nice central location for the things we wanted to do. Has everything you would need to use in the kitchen. We would happily stay there again.”

“Location was great- 10 min walk to centre. Property was huge- good for hen/stag do, which it is probably aimed at. The property is tired, showers cold or low pressure/ not overly clean. Feels like it needs a good deep clean, wouldn’t want to walk round with bare feet. Unfortunately, one of our party cut their foot on smashed glass in the hot tub. Additionally, one of the children also found smashed glass on the floor in the living area but fortunately was not hurt. ”
