The hotel is in a great location, very close to the train station and extremely convenient. However, the room condition and housekeeping fell short of expectations: The curtains could not be closed properly, affecting both privacy and light blockage. 「We had a great stay for one night to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday. The moment we walked through the door the staff were friendly and attentive, the property is very new and fresh. I had contacted the hotel before hand to ask for a higher room and this was granted. When we came back from our show the staff had put in balloons and little message on the mirror wishing my son a happy birthday which was a lovely touch. 「You would expect a little more from a 5 star hotel but the check-in process is not very welcoming… we are a family of 3 with a small child plus two big luggages… when we arrived, no one offer a hand to move the luggages up the staircase to the main reception area… in fact, no one is there… so we have to move the heavy suitcases ourselves… the check in is relatively quick but the staff is cold… so it’s quite unpleasant to begin with… we decided to have dinner at the Fitz’s but the table they...
