"My stay was fine. There's some renovation work in the building next door and that was LOUD in the AM. Not the hotel's fault. The solo room is definitely cramped, but it works for short stays. Convenient location. Only noteworthy matter is that there are no USB outlets in the room, so bring a wall plug or conversion if necessary to charge your devices."

"The Mitre House Motel is a quaint little family-owned hotel and I liked it there. At first I thought my room was pretty small compared to Canadian standards, but I came to realize it was decent sized for what I was looking for in London and it included breakfast. It’s definitely not a 5 ⭐️, but if you’re looking for something reasonably priced, clean and safe, and within walking distance to a bunch of shops, restaurants, and Paddington Station, I recommend it."

"Room was clean but the bedlinen could be a lot better. The duvet cover was worn and bobbled so felt rather rough. Also the pillows were not comfortable at all and the sink was tiny. However the shower was spacious and had a good water jet. Great location."
