"Stayed with my family for 4 days and had a great experience. The hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet spread and service is to be commended, I observed that the staff were very attentive and proactive making sure the guest’s every need was taken care of. I even observed one staff going above and beyond to get food for a guest directly from the kitchen as the guest expressed his desire for muffins. All in all, very happy with my stay here and recommend this hotel to anyone. I will most certainly stay here again when we visit next time. Well done Bar Harbor Grand Hotel!"

"Lovely hotel with clean rooms and close to town. Decent breakfast served with 2 options each day for hot dishes in addition to the continental breakfast. There is ample parking and a pool table and small gym on the first floor. Highly recommended. "

"This was by far my best experience in any hotel and I am not young! Penny and Constance, at the reception desk, were amazing at taking care of everyone’s needs, explaining and suggesting activities, restaurants, best time for everything. The were friendly, knowledgeable, available and fun to interact with. A family atmosphere. They made our trip better then we could have expected. The accommodations were also great and clean, loved the breakfast food available, great start to the day. Hotel is within easy walking distance to everything in Bar Harbor. I would recommend to anyone heading to Bar harbor. "

"Convenient location to anything your heart desires, ample parking behind the Inn and most gracious hostesses. Only things that I would improve are the sheet and pillowcase quality. The duvet was so much more pleasant. "
