"Loch Ness Lodge has the most surreal setting, perched on a beautifully landscapex hillside overlooking the lake. The staff is impeccable offering a warm, gracious welcome. Rooms are stunningly appointed with sumptuous bedding. Views from the study, the lounge and the dining room are amazing. A full Scottish breakfast awaits in the morning. Wish we could have stayed linger. Next time!"

"This is a beautiful property, with lovely comfortable rooms. Elmira is a gracious and thoughtful host. We had to leave early for a tour, before the breakfast hours, and she made sure we had plenty to eat before we left. I couldn't give 5 stars for area around the property, as there was construction happening in the backyard, but it's not a criticism. We enjoyed our stay very much!"

"An opportunity to spend a night in a revamped farmhouse turned guesthouse. The Farmhouse lodge is situated about 15-20 minutes west of the town of Vik right off of the Ring Road and has two levels (the main and a walk out basement which is quite bright). Stayed in a single room with shared bathroom (which I think I had to myself) that was on the lower level facing south with a big bright window and beautiful view). All I could hear were the birds at night. There is courtesy coffee, tea and...

"Nice and pleasant location. Clean room. Friendly Staff. The lodge wasn't soundproof and I heard people next room talking and stomping of the footsteps from the room above.It took a bit long to have hot breakfast served and continental breakfast wasn't impressive."

"Nice peaceful place, helpful staff. The apartment could do with a bit more equipment in the kitchen, for example more cutlery & there were only 3 bowls in a 4 person apartment. Useful to have washing machine in the apartment. There are a few bikes you can borrow but they could do with a bit of TLC, suitable for a short ride to town."

"The marketing photo (above) is a misleading advertisement. There are studios built on stilts overlooking our accommodation and blocking the advertised sea view. The properties website does not currently show them either. Total misrepresentation and underhandedness"

"We stayed for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. We loved the Kelo cabin. Everything about this place made for a very relaxing vacation. We were very satisfied the dining each night. They had four main menus that rotated each day. Our favorite excursion was the dog sledding. We have enthusiastically recommended Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort to all of our friends and family."
