“Very easy to check in room was ready when we got there. Rooms were clean. Staff was polite easy access to the beach and we also like that. We were only there for three days and we got a short term rental for that instead of having to book the whole week, we just wanted a long weekend we would recommend the sea ranch resort to anyone. We had a great time.”

“If cleanliness is important to you, I would not recommend staying here. We originally booked this hotel for a week, but after just one night, we checked out. The sheets were dirty, the towels had a terrible odor, there was hair in the bathtub, and there was residue on the toilet seat. The room felt so unclean that we were uncomfortable all night and couldn’t wait to leave. I do want to give credit where it’s due—the staff was kind, understanding, and refunded our stay in full. “Great hosts, super friendly and interesting! Very accommodating of dietary restrictions. They had beach chairs and towels and some umbrellas available, a block to the beach. Breakfast was delicious!”

“We had a wheelchair to get to the second floor and it was more than difficult to take elevator since there was a step up to get there. If it were not for a fellow guest helping us up the step we would not have gotten onto the room. The step was unnecessary and short ramp would have been appropriate. People working there were very helpful - especially Leroy! ”

“I stayed here in the early 1980s, when I was in my early teens. It has been upgraded since then, but still provided that wonderful nostalgic feeling I had when I first visited the Outer Banks! I wanted my kids to experience this as well, so we booked a room for several days. We stayed in a courtyard room, which was still very quiet and comfortable, despite being next to the entrance drive. Unlike most beach motels, parking was NEVER an issue! We always had a spot close to the room. The room……
