"very beautiful resort. Our room was great and I really enjoyed the jet tub in the evening. It was a smaller size resort then i have stayed in before but it was perfect for what we were needing on our trip. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere."

"This is my fourth stay at the Barcelo resort. The facility is beautiful and very comfortable. I'll definitely be coming back, thanks to their excellent service and great atmosphere! We were served every day by Helinda, Ismail, Belisario at Coco bar who were charming and very good professionals, making cocktails according to our preferences. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. Book dinners in specialty restaurants very easy, We enjoyed the food in Mare Nostrum as well as in Tokio restaurant. Very comfortable and beautiful rooms well cleaned and restocked daily. I am of the opinion that enabling check in online would speed up the check in process, in my opinion the process is a bit slow upon arrival. And another small complaint that the beds in the rooms are for replacement."

"When we arrived they told us they had upgraded our room to a larger size so we had a living room as well as a bedroom. Everything was amazing. From the food to the friendly staff. We didn’t spend much time at the beach because there was a limited area for the beach and there weren’t many chairs there but the pools were great. We loved the pool with the basketball hoops inside. We had a lot of fun there especially when the DJ was playing music. There was always someone ready to take our drink order which was amazing. When we would go back to our room to relax it was very quiet which was nice. Overall an amazing experience. "

"This hotel is amazing, in the middle of the jungle (per say) so beautifully surrounded by nature, well maintenanced with lots of places to visit at walking distance, many breathtaking sceneries ( 5 min walk to xcaret show!!) The food is good, lots of options, transportation from and to airport, and activities. Plus much more!!! The hotel is very affordable for all it had to offer!! "
