“A free breakfast should be included. Also, the front desk attendant did not let us extend our stay AT the desk. We had to step aside and order more nights online. She also spoke very low and we could not hear her.”

“The breakfast was wonderful and was one of the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, the evening reception was very disappointing. The snacks appeared to be stale and tasted like leftovers from the Fourth of July holiday, which was not what I expected. I have stayed at many Embassy Suites locations, and because this is marketed as an upscale resort, I expected a much higher standard. The evening reception fell far short of those expectations. Our experience at the Rhum Bar was also very poor.……

“The Hampton Inn was okay overall, the price was a bit steep for the amenities. Breakfast was included and there was an outdoor pool but nothing special. We got an ocean view room that was clean and had a good view. The hotel sits quite a ways back from the beachfront so keep in mind it is not as “beach front” as some of the neighboring hotels. During our stay there was a plumbing issue that took the water out for a few hours, although inconvenient the staff did a good job of informing us and……

“We booked this hotel because it is pet friendly. Our room was clean and perfect for our dogs because there was no carpet-a plus in pup world. There is plenty of green grass areas to walk dogs and baggies are provided. The front desk staff was helpful and pleasant. We did have a problem with the toilet not flushing correctly but it was handled quickly. We will definitely stay again.”

“The floors weren't swept very well and also weren't mopped. Everything what seemed fine. Just a typical beach hotel. Easy walk to the pier access and a circle K. Never felt unsafe. Would stay there again.”

“Nice location, near beach and great places to eat. Water pressure in bathroom sink was miniscule but good in shower. Room did smell funny (like fish) upon check in but was resolved quickly. The only real downside is the expensive parking for the stay. I would stay here again.”

Of course, walked around room spraying lysol, like I aways do and right off bat i spotted a pair of men's underwear hanging from shower curtain and THEY WERE STILL WET when I yanked them down and threw them in garbage. As always, never use room service. And the sign at front desk that they charge $35 for unretured pool towels is offensive. Place is in need of inside paint.”

“This was a pleasant trip, hotel was very comfortable and the pool and Jacuzzi where in great condition. There is not a pool bar or restaurant during the day. Staff was very helpful and kind.”

“The property, the room, where you parked, all were very, very good I have to say most coffees when you travel in your room is awful and I need to tell you the coffee in this room was excellent I didn’t like several things though I didn’t care for the shower because the showerhead was too high and no grab bars at all. You don’t have to be disabled, handicap, or old, to need grab bars. Next is no microwave in the roomand I was told it was because they didn’t want to smell of food in the hallway……

“The included breakfast was excellent and much more than we could eat. The wait staff were beyond exceptional - Belinda, Toni, and the cook (didn't get his name) were just the nicest, most pleasant people you could ask for. We looked forward to going to breakfast every morning. The room was very nice and clean, however one thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the floors. There was sand on our floors for days after we went to the beach. Again, the cleaning staff were always……

“I just needed a place to sleep, and this property served that purpose. The room was basic, and the bed was comfortable. It is an older property but it was clean. The woman who helped me at the desk (who I think is the owner) was MOST helpful and very friendly. I was traveling alone and she made me feel safe. The location is also amazing. A quick walk across the bridge and you are in historic St. Augustine. Overall, a good hotel for the price.”
