"We enjoyed the atmosphere of this rustic reconditioned lodge situated on a brook. The room had been nicely redone with rustic furnishings and a very nice stone bath counter and sink. It seems it needs a touch-up, but was pleasant, quiet, comfortable, and clean. I enjoyed sitting by the creek on our patio. "Sydney James was a decent hotel. The room was spacious. We ended up seeing bear in the back. The front desk lady was amazing. She upgraded our room because it was a special weekend. Room was clean and we had all the things. The pool was nice but was too cold for the outside ones. The things that were kind of a bummer were that you had to pay for coffee in the cafe’. The room was dated, one of the chairs outside was falling apart. The bathroom was clean but very small because of the jacuzzi....
