Concorde Takanawa hotels

"Great property in every way possible. The staff were always greeting us with a smile. Amenities and location were fantastic. And the buffet breakfast was the icing on the top of an excellent stay. The room was small but we were aware of that so no surprise there."

"Super convenient location if you want to be close to Haneda airport. Located right above the subway station (noise is minimal unless you're sensitive to sound--you won't have trouble sleeping), and also across the street from the Takanawa Gateway station. Room is small and compact, which isn't bad if you're planning to be out and about. Has all the necessities in the bathroom. New amenities given around noon every day at your door. Has two washers and dryers if you're worried about laundry, make sure to have 100 yen coins on you! Keep a close eye on your key card though, I accidentally lost mine and had to pay 10000 yen to replace it, my fault though."

"This hotel was very clean with rooms that are quite spacious by Tokyo standards. There was a separate bathtub that was big enough to fit an average sized adult comfortably. We had a king bed with enough space to fit a sofa and a table in the room. The hotel is only 3 stations away from Tokyo station, while it's not really center we didn't have a problem reaching all the famous parts within a reasonable time frame. It was also nice to rent a LUUP scooter and explore the quiet sea side area. I want to emphasize that the housekeeping staff is doing an excellent job as the room was exceptionally well cleaned. The hotel has an indoor public bath that was quite nice to use. The tv in the room has the status of how busy the baths are for both the male and female sides. Despite it being peak season and the staff telling us the hotel was fully booked, we still found the time to use the baths when it wasn't very crowded at all. Lastly points of improvement would be to install better laundry machines. The washing machine left the clothes smelling a bit strange; I was told that they had detergent built in to them. The dryers were terrible as after a full hour of drying, the clothes were still very damp. Despite subpar equipment, the cost of use is very high at 600 yen for the washer and 100 yen per 10 min for the dryer. It's not really a big deal, but I think if this part was improved it'd be perfect. Lastly, on the topic of suggestions, an addition of a lounge would be a nice touch."

"We had a really great experience at Tobu Hotel. The location was perfect and close to train station.Really close to shopping: Don Quijote and a mall nearby with lots of restaurants as well. But what stood out was the exceptional service from all the staff.Checking in and out was easy.We were also able to book the Limo bus from the hotel directly to Narita Airport which was so convenient for multiple luggages.Will definitely book this hotel again."
