“Nice people ”

“The staff at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful! Also the waiters were so nice and friendly. We felt very welcome. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel which was right in the center of Playa del Carmen and just a few footsteps to the clubs and bars but still very quite so that we could sleep very well. The tours to Chichen Itza and Tulum we have booked at La Tortuga hotel were cheaper than at other hotels :-) and the included buffet was great. We can highly recommend this……

“The staff was incredibly welcoming. Food and entertainment was lovely. Although it is high seaweed season and we knew this before booking... the hotel did an amazing job cleaning. The drinks where delicious and staff cared for peoples safely. Will be returning. ”

“The hotel has a classic appearance, and considering how near it is to 5th Avenue it was remarkably quiet (not silent, but not loud either). Room was clean and comfortable, the staff very kind. Cool oceanic water feature in the courtyard, and a nice small pool (we didn't have time to enjoy it ourselves). Close to lots of dining options, and s half block from 5th Ave. If we were going to spend more time in Playa del Carmen, we would definitely choose this hotel. ”

“This resort is super special! Super clean, newer looking, fabulous staff, gorgeous pool, good food, and white sand beaches!”

“It is a beautiful property, although it has a lot of small issues - particularly with our balcony room. Handle for closet came off, door to patio came off, no refrigerator when arrive, no TV in our room. We could have known more of the language ourselves, but front desk / reception did not speak any english :(”
