"We loved the Melia Wellness Resort! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and so attentive. The grounds were beautiful! The food was mediocre. Fish was overcooked and not flavorful, dumplings were undercooked and mushy, plantains and tostones were stale, and most desserts were awful, as if sugar was not used. "Negatives: - No drinks, proper welcome and guide through the resort upon arrival even though we booked adults only.. - The noise level at the beach is insane. Music (and by that i mean beats along with a guy screaming into a microphone) is being blasted 8 hours a day non-stop 10 feet behind the adults only area. - Layout of the hotel leaves night activities like shows, bars and night club way in the back. "We are a family of 7 with 5 children ranging from pre teens to late teens. We had an incredible experience, the staff was accommodating and helpful and the premises and rooms were clean and well maintained. There were many options for dining and the bars were well stocked with top shelf brands. Overall a positive and enjoyable experience. "
