Eat early as some food tended to run out later in the service. Two cappuccinos S$34 in the lounge on ground floor is too high given competition nearby. "We travelled 16 hours from London arriving early morning, even though check in is not till afternoon we have been accommodated immediately. Everyone in hotel was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel is spotless and rooms very comfortable with beautiful view. Rooftop pool was a great place to relax, never too busy. "The Carlton City Singapore was a great base for 4 nights in the city, being very close to an MRT station. Breakfast is great, and the rooftop bar was a lovely place to unwind after a day of sightseeing with lovely food and drinks. "
