“This hotel was awful. The rooms were filthy and reeked and had that moist feeling in them. The bathroom was disgusting from the shower to the sink to the toilet. The carpet in the room should have been taken out 15 years ago. No housekeeping, no towels. Trash bags all along the walls of the hotel we stayed for 4 days and the same trash was along the walls for the entire stay. This building should be condemned due to severe filth, health hazards, or building code violations. As the old saying……

“Great location! Very clean for older building. Staff and owner were great. Parking was good and boardwalk was close enough to walk to. Keep in mind there is no elevator.”

“Location is great. Overall stay was good Some issues we had: • Elevators in the parking garage need to be serviced. We were stuck in one because the doors didn’t open. After a minute or so I was able to pull it open and exit. • The mattresses and living room chairs are very outdated. The mattresses need to be changed out for sure. • There was a lot of cigarette and marijana smoke in the parking garage elevators and on other balcony’s that made sitting on our balcony hard to do.”

“If I could give this place zero stars I would. The rooms are disgusting and look nothing like they look on the pictures online. The room they gave me had mold on the lampshade, paint chipping off the walls, broken outlet covers with exposed outlets. I asked the front desk person if I could cancel my reservation that I only reserved only an hour and a half before I got there, and he told me that I could cancel but he would charge me $800 if I did. I still didn't stay in the room. I left……

“The front desk staff were kind. The room was very quiet as it was right at the pool, but they were able to animate us with another room on the 6th floor. Ocean view was nice. The cleanliness and overall quality of the room & building needs major improvements. Shower walls & toilet had hair on them, the mold issue is awful. The smell and causing excessive sneezing & poor ventilation. The hallways and elevator not very clean.”

“Great location and nice clean room and hotel. Staff was very friendly and the beach is just steps from the room. Some great food within walking distance as well. We were very pleased with our stay.”

“I would caution anyone to not stay in 636. There was no water pressure and barely any water from the old shower head. The front desk receptionist sent maintenance to fix the issue but there was absolutely no change. Room was dirty with tons of hair on the mattress protector that we removed from the beds. Bathroom barely had room for us to turn around in. Killed a roach in the kitchen. I let the front desk receptionist know all of the above upon check out and she was very apologetic and nice. She……
