“I have a lot of compassion for service workers but this was a next level bad service. Cleaning rooms consists of making a bed and changing towels. Spider webs and dust we found at arrival were still there after 10 days. Drinks are awful, coke turns into clear liquid after 5 minutes, cocktails are so full of sweet syrup that are undrinkable. Service - tried to organize bday/50th anniversary dinner, took 3 times of “you’re not in the system”. No promised cake. 2 different tables. No water left in……

“The suite was beautiful, the breakfast is not the best at all. The front desk, bar and buffet staff all had amazing service.”

“The property was very spread out. The beach and pool restrooms were broken so you had to go to lobby or your room. They didn’t clean the beach the first three days we were there so the sargassum smell was quite bad. Many of the restaurant staff showed little to no energy or enthusiasm to serve patrons. The food was be try low quality - no variety and odd buffet / restaurant hours. The gym/spa were above average and the coffee bar was be try nice. Entertainment was below average.”

“One thing that disappointed me during my stay was the hotel’s visitor policy. Guests were not allowed to have more than one person visit the room at a time, even briefly during the day. I completely understand limits on overnight guests or parties, but this policy felt unusually restrictive and was not clearly disclosed when booking. Had I known beforehand, I likely would have chosen a different hotel.”

The property never felt crowded, the beach was wide and relaxing, and we liked having the flexibility to eat only what we wanted instead of feeling tied to buffet meals all day. “We stayed for 2 weeks in May. The weather was excellent. The hotel had recently renovated the section where we stayed, so it felt clean and pleasant. The staff are amazing! They do their upmost to help and make your stay feel welcomed. Everyone is really friendly and polite. Our butler, Rafael, was the best!!! We had a few issues related to rooms and sargussum: Compared with other nearby resorts, where they clean twice a day and remove all seaweed, this hotel made minimal efforts. Some days……

“Nice place needs some updating and clean the outside furniture and also patio doors don’t lock so that needs to be fixed. Great location. Free breakfast and cabana access on the beach was a plus. Great staff.”
