“We had booked for two nights and we left after the first night. The place is uninhabitable and we needed to find lodgings elsewhere. There were no blankets and we were cold in the night, no hot water, only 3 pillows while we were four people. There were bugs all over the room and a nasty smell. There was dog poop and dog pee all over the common areas. Definitely do not recommend”

“Highly recommend finding another place to stay in Coba or elsewhere. This place is clearly gearing up to be sold. Almost no staff around, and limited service. We booked this hotel to use the complimentary bikes and access to spa services as provided in the description when booking as we wanted to bike to the Coban ruins. They did not have these, so we decided to check out the next day. The front desk manager, who had no idea of anything going on, checked us out and said we would be refunded……

“We only saw turtles when we went out of the resort and paid for the guides. The food from the buffet and room service gave us a tummy ache everyday unfortunately. The drinks were okay, there was not a lot to do to be honest. We had a decent time though and the staff was always there to help.”

“Unfortunately I cannot say the value of this place is accurate. The view is fantastic and restaurant staff were great, however I did not feel super safe/comfortable. My parter getting shocked when he turned the light on, to having to strain and twist to get out of the room to the back because of the room planning, the slippery floors in the bathroom and the raised deck boards causing many people to trip. The shower wasn’t clean and the design with wooden floor was smelly. This place could……

“We had a fantastic stay at Coco Unlimited Tulum from April 24th to May 4th. The property is beautiful, but it was the lovely people who made the experience truly special.I didn’t catch everyone’s names, but Betty on reception and Jacob in the restaurant were absolutely outstanding representatives of the hotel. They both went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We also enjoyed the lovely food—the chilaquiles were brilliant, and they make a lovely margarita! Highly recommend this spot for……

“The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, really nice people. The communication with the hotel prior to our trip was quick and efficient too. We had a few questions and would sometimes respond within minutes. When we got to our room, I noticed they had upgraded our room to one facing the ocean, what a pleasant surprise. The beach was clean and well maintained. Given that it was seaweed season, there was an employee raking and clearing it every morning and going over the sand with a rake……
