“Exceptional hotel, unfortunately the water @ the beach was full of seaweed.”

“The road to the resort was not paved at all (dirt road with tons of potholes, an SUV or bigger vehicle is a must), it was remote, no cell reception (download an offline map), surrounded by jungle. We had fun driving through. The property was nice, peaceful and surrounded by nature. There is no cell reception but there is a wifi. The room that we stayed in was the comfort room. It was clean and comfortable. There was a musty smell at first but we aired the room out and it was fine after. I……

“The resort was lovely, with a large variety of options for eating. Our butler Carlos was amazing, and made our stay so much smoother and more enjoyable. The beach was lovely, but I do recommend water shoes, because there are some random rocks and such under the water. We had an issue with our room, but our butler Carlos, the maintenance staff, and the rest of the staff were attentive worked in a timely fashion for a solution. “We stayed here with two families with 4 kids under 10 for two nights.They had so much for them to do. A pool, bounce houses, a trampoline, electric cars, a campfire, and they even got to play with the resident bunny, ducks, and chickens. The staff was also extremely kind and helpful making the kids food to order throughout the day and always finding things to entertain them. We didn't have our own car, but they happily drove us to local cenotes and even helped pick up a friend who needed a ride……

“Pleasantly surprised. This looks like a small motel, but is an apartment complex that rents out a few units. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom a separate from the kitchen dining room. Just a few blocks from the beach… and a great beach club. For a low budget trip, this place was just great. The staff did not speak any english but google translate helped to facilitate good communication. ”
