「Catalonia Riviera Maya can be a good option if you’re visiting Quintana Roo on a budget, but there are a few things to keep in mind before booking. 「I would not come back to this resort. Food: - buffet has repeat food and nothing was really good. All dishes are just so so. The taste is plain ….half of the buffet are steamed, fried or grilled vegetables. The juice seemed like it was mixed with water. The fruit quality is bad most of the time, and there are not a lot of options. - Drink: you can feel they are using cheap ingredients - restaurants: french restaurant closes every other day. Italian restaurant showed it was opened on Thursday...

「Staff is very helpful and attentive. If you want to eat at a venue other than the buffet plan ahead. We had a large group and that made it difficult to get into the ala carte restaurants. Food was excellent overall!」
